Miss. Wright's 2nd Grade Class

Mrs. Maggie Moore, librarian of Webster County Schools, read the story This is the Turkey by Abby Levine to Miss. Wright’s 2nd grade class. After reading the story, Mrs. Moore asked the students to choose an animal to color. The students made a balloon/float representing the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The students had a BLAST! Pictured is Miss. Wright’s class holding their balloon/float.

Mrs. Scott's U.S. History Class

Students in Mrs. Scott's U.S. History class at Webster County High School have been studying the Electoral College and its history.  As we waited for the votes to be tallied after the November 3rd election, students paid close attention to how Georgia voted in every presidential election since 1900.

Webster County Schools Quarter 1 Honor Roll

Webster County Schools had an outstanding first quarter. Even in the face of unprecedented, ever-changing challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, our teachers have been working hard to prepare meaningful, well-planned lessons that not only teach the standards required by the state, but also engage their students both in the classroom and at home.
