Froggy Goes to School

Ms. Wright’s 2nd grade class at Webster County Elementary school is learning about the elements of a story. The class read a book called Froggy Goes to School. After reading, the students had to complete a story map over the story. They had a blast making their frog crafts.

Financial Aid Workshop Held at Webster

Webster County High School students attended a Financial Aid Workshop Monday, September 23, 2019. Mrs. Katie Minich, K12 Outreach Representative with the Georgia Student Finance Commission, discussed options for managing the cost of college, types of financial aid available, HOPE and Zell Miller Scholarship Programs, and how to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Ms. Sydney and Ms. Shawn’s Class

For the month of September, Ms. Sydney and Ms. Shawn’s class learned about our government. After reading a story about the rights we have in our constitution, we made a paper about the characters. The characters in the story had to pick a right to talk about to their class. Our students had to choose the right that each character talks about in the story and put it with the correct character. We are using a new curriculum called the Unique Learning System. Each month we focus on a new theme....

Davyn Campbell

Davyn Campbell, a student in Ms. Selma Mosley’s 8th Grade Media Arts class at Webster County Schools, is practicing his architectural skills by designing his own kitchen for his house. Students used the website toytheatre.com to design and build their own homes. They really enjoyed creating different designs for their own homes.
